With centres across the UK & Ireland, we deliver product-neutral education of the highest quality, praised by graduates for small group sizes and thorough, hands-on training.

Founder Annalouise Kenny
Annalouise Kenny is the founder and owner of Skin Philosophy Training, established in 2011. With the rapid expansion of the aesthetics industry and a lack of schools focused on advanced treatments like laser, peels, and needling, Annalouise saw an opportunity to fill the gap. By the age of 25, Annalouise had already worked in the industry for 7 years, traveled the world, and successfully opened three clinics specializing in advanced skin and laser treatments. She provided her staff with in-depth, hands-on training to ensure they mastered these techniques. Recognizing the need for more independent, specialized training, Annalouise left her career in 2011 to launch the first school dedicated to training therapists in advanced laser and skin treatments
Rebecca Pearson
Teacher London
Rebecca Pearson is a teacher at Skin Philosophy and freelance facialist.
Rebecca qualified from Skin Philosophy in 2019 and immediately worked as a freelance facialist and at the Skin a philosophy clinic. Her background in fashion and journalism also led to the opportunity to give facials at numerous press events for brands such as Chanel and Foreo.
In 2022, Rebecca qualified as an assessor and teacher with Skin Philosophy and began teaching facials 2 and 3 at the Clapham Centre. She continues to balance teaching work with freelancing, and has a passion for facial massage.
Emma Shanks
Teacher Newcastle
Emma Shanks is a highly experienced aesthetic therapist, managing a successful clinic in Durham. With years of expertise in advanced skin treatments, Emma has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality results and ensuring client satisfaction. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve their skincare goals with tailored treatments and personalized care.
Since 2023, Emma has been teaching at Skin Philosophy, where she brings her extensive practical experience into the classroom. As a teacher, Emma is committed to sharing her knowledge and skills with the next generation of skincare professionals, offering real-world insights into the application of advanced techniques. Emma’s passion for aesthetics and education shines through in every class she teaches, making her a valuable resource for students and clients alike.
Amanda Hudson
Teacher Dublin
Amanda is an experienced teacher at Skin Philosophy and a skilled manager at an aesthetics clinic in Dublin. With years of expertise in advanced aesthetic treatments, Amanda has a strong background in clinic management and patient care. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching, offering students practical insights into the daily operations of a busy aesthetics clinic.
As a manager, Amanda oversees all aspects of the clinic, ensuring high standards of service and keeping up with the latest trends in the aesthetics industry. Her passion for skincare and dedication to her profession are evident in her role at Skin Philosophy, where she mentors and educates aspiring therapists.
Harriet
Marketing Manager
Harriet is Skin Philosophy’s Head of Marketing, bringing a unique blend of experience and passion to the role. After starting her career in marketing at her local council, Harriet decided to train at Skin Philosophy in 2021 to completely change careers. She quickly connected with the course content and ethos of the company, which inspired her to combine her marketing expertise with her newfound passion for skincare.
Now leading Skin Philosophy’s marketing efforts, Harriet handles everything from social media and campaigns to podcasts and events, ensuring the brand’s message is communicated clearly and effectively. Her creativity, enthusiasm, and understanding of both marketing and skincare make her a vital part of the Skin Philosophy team.
Amy Kilshaw
Teacher Northern England
Amy is Skin Philosophy’s dedicated teacher for the North of England, bringing five years of hands-on experience in the aesthetics industry. Throughout her career, Amy has worked in clinics, perfecting her skills in advanced treatments, and has also collaborated with suppliers of aesthetic products, including lasers, providing her with a deep understanding of both treatments and products.
Amy’s diverse background allows her to offer students real-world insights and practical expertise, making her a valuable asset to the Skin Philosophy team. Her passion for aesthetics and commitment to quality education ensures that every student under her guidance is well-prepared to succeed in the industry.
Genna Blake
Student Support
Genna is Skin Philosophy’s dedicated Student Support Coordinator, offering one-on-one support calls, onboarding sessions, and being available for anything students need throughout their journey. With years of experience in the industry, Genna has worked in salons and as a Business Development Manager (BDM) for skincare companies, giving her a deep understanding of both the practical and business sides of aesthetics.
Her extensive background enables her to provide valuable insights and personalized support, ensuring that students have the tools, confidence, and guidance they need to succeed in the industry. Genna is passionate about helping students thrive and is always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.
